Laura Graham has lived in North Florida since 1974, when her father, a Navy Chief, received orders to NAS Cecil Field. In 1997, she married Lee and together started Graham Properties Inc., which buys, renovates, and sells residential homes. This venture led Laura, a 12-year Registered Nurse (RN), and Lee, a custom cabinet maker, into full-time real estate service.
In 2001, Laura earned her Florida Real Estate License as a Realtor and went to work for Re/Max Specialists in Orange Park, Florida. After eight years with Re/Max Specialists, the team made the move to Explore Realty Inc., which they purchased in 2014.
Laura, serving as the broker, is committed to continuing her education and sharpening her professional skills. This commitment is reflected in the major real estate designations and certifications that she has earned:
- Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR)
- Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)
- Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE)
- Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI)
These coveted awards are received only after completing extensive coursework and demonstrating professional standards and experience through a minimum number of real estate transactions.
Laura and Lee have also raised four boys in the North Florida area. Brenton, the oldest, currently lives in the Denver, Colorado area with his wife, Ashley, and their two daughters, Emma and Ella. Brenton served six years in the U.S. Navy as a Combat Search and Rescue Swimmer.
Matt, the next oldest, currently lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Amanda, and children, Jack and Maxeen. He studies Psychology and Computer Science at the University of North Florida and served ten years in the Navy as an Electronics Technician.
Justin, the third oldest, currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida, where he studies Music at Florida State University and marches as a saxophonist in the Marching Chiefs. He is engaged to be married to his high school sweetheart, Gabbie, another Marching Chief.
Jason, the youngest, recently moved to Tallahassee as well to attend FSU for computer science. He will also be marching with the Chiefs as a saxophonist.
